Here’s to Life!
For many years now, whenever I would pass Shaw Blvd (Kapitolyo area), I’d see this building that said Reedley International. It had always piqued my curiosity, with me wondering what kind of school it was. A couple of weeks ago, I got an invite from Carlo to visit Reedley, which by this time had transferred to the Libis area.

The talk was actually directed towards the 1st year high school students of that school, but oldies, the press and bloggers like me were also present to cover and perhaps get some inspiration from Kuya Ef.

I’m not a parent in Reedley International School. So, what business do I have to be writing in this corner? I was one of the concessionaires at the canteen. The kids love to order chocolate shake and crab nuggets, among others at the KISS cart. During break time, their teachers, making sure they won’t waste food nor get messy, always accompanied the little ones. I was amazed at how quick and confident they are able to count their change using a different kind of Math. I learned that the students are taught Singaporean Math in Reedley.
