7 Habits for Teens Live in Manila!
Many professionals, executives, and parents know who Stephen R. Covey is and have read all about his 7 Habits Of Highly Effective People.
But there are several people who would say that there is this other 7 Habits book that is even better and easier to apply and understand than the original. It is called The 7 Habits Of Highly Effective Teens written by Sean Covey, the son of the 7 Habits’ best-selling author Stephen Covey. The 7 Habits for Teens has sold over three million copies and was translated into more than fifteen languages.
I have interviewed people who have read both the adults and teens versions of the 7 Habits, and they say that the latter had a stronger impact and meaning to their lives.
Why don’t you grab both copies now and compare? (If I were you, I’d get the teens version. Hush hush.)
Sean Covey is the senior vice president of Innovations and Products at FranklinCovey, a world-renowned organization devoted to helping individuals and organizations achieve greatness. He graduated from BYU with a degree in English and later earned his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. He is also the author of Fourth Down and Life to Go, and The 6 Most Important Decisions You’ll Ever Make.
This November, FranlklinCovey and CLCI (Center for Leadership and Change, Inc.), in cooperation with Ateneo De Manila, Philippine Daily Inquirer, and Reedley International School, are proud to bring Sean Covey to Manila for his very first youth congress.
For his short stint, Sean’s It’s Your Choice! Teen Chat will be on :
November 25, 3:00 - 5:00pm at the Henry Lee Irwin Theater, Ateneo de Manila, Loyola Heights Q.C. and
November 26, 8:30 - 10:30am at the Every Nation Leadership Institute, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.
Sean Covey will be speaking about the most critical decisions the youth will have to make as teenagers today and how values play a key role in making the right ones. His shows will be open not only to students and teens, but to grown-ups as well. Just like his book! Hah!
Tickets are priced at Php250 for students and Php300 for adults.
Imagine, for the mere price of a Starbucks Frapuccino and a Brownie, your life may be changed!
(Can you remember how much tickets were sold for John Maxwell’s event? Maybe too expensive for you to do so.)
Reedley International School, one of the co-presenters for this event, is one of the first and few schools in the Philippines to have directly and fundamentally based its Life Skills subject on Sean’s 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens. Life Skills is taught from Grades 1 to 7 and Upper School levels 1 to 4 in Reedley.
Jerome Castro, Reedley International School Headmaster, and Lena McKenzie, Reedley Alumni, will be speaking on both dates about how the 7 Habits can be applied by teens in their lives and relationships and be a better son, daughter, friend, student, and boy/girlfriend.
